Summer Solstice ArtBar

Description

Hosted by Nikaline of Vessel and Vine, (Brunswick) at her private estate and gardens in Durham, Maine. 

The address will be shared with you the week of June 16th, once your tickets have been purchased. 

This ArtBar has a slightly different format, and focuses on bringing the people together to celebrate the inter-connectedness of community. Open to thirty people, the ticket includes one custom Vessel and Vine cocktail or mocktail, a charcuterie spread, and an art making experience. 

Throughout Nikaline's sprawling gardens, complete with chickens, horses, dogs and cats, ArtVan will set guests up with materials to paint, draw, and collage the land around them, with the prompt of "choosing community." We'll celebrate the link between local farms, local businesses, local non-profits, and the individuals within them that come together to form a community. 

Inspired by recently retired US Surgeon General, Dr. Vivek Murthy's "Parting Prescription for America" which brought together Dr. Murthy's perspective on success, fulfillment, community, relationships, meaning, and purpose, and how they relate to our overall health. While there are many definitions of these concepts and many prescriptions for what may plague them, Dr. Murthy's remedy focuses on "choosing community." 

We hope to see you on June 21, 2025, as we come together to connect and find fulfillment, meaning, and purpose in the presence of one another.
