“A Conversation with the Conductor” The Midcoast Symphony Orchestra (MSO) under guest conductor Hiroya Miura performs ““Fiery & Passionate Compositions”, the third concert in this season’s theme of “Elemental Music to Stir the Soul.”
This concert centered around the theme of fire includes the following works. •Franz Liszt - Prometheus •Robert Schumann - Symphony No. 2, Op. 61 •Samuel Coleridge-Taylor - Ballade in A Minor, Op. 33 •Igor Stravinsky - Firebird Suite As a part of MSO’s “More with Midcoast” community outreach series audience members are invited to arrive one hour early at 6:00 pm to have a conversation with our guest conductor about the music and the concert.

Individual tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. This season MSO concerts are free for all audience members 25 and under. MSO tickets, including free student tickets, are paperless. Audience members, including those 25 and under requesting FREE tickets, are encouraged to purchase tickets up to 24 hours in advance of each concert, either online or via the Box Office. Check-in ("Will Call") is in the lobby before the concert.
