Lewiston Business Opportunity Grant learning session

Need help preparing your Business Opportunity Grant application? Take the City of Lewiston's Economic Development Department's complimentary training session right here at the Chamber:

The Business Opportunity Loan Program is designed to support startup and existing businesses within the City to create jobs and enhance the tax base. The loan amounts are up to $50,000 at 5% for 10 years. 

The Business Opportunity Grant Program is designed to support startup and existing businesses, help build capacity, develop businesses, and increase the tax base. This grant can also be used for existing businesses to expand their services in Lewiston or for relocation changes within the City. It can also be used for specialty equipment or code issues. Grant amounts are available up to $40,000 and are a reimbursable grant with up to a $5,000 advance for qualifying applicants.
