Are you ready to dash...for dogs?? The GAHS Dash for Dogs 5K is a popular, yearly event held right at the shelter on Strawberry Ave in Lewiston! It’s the perfect opportunity to kick off an active spring and summer by getting outside with our canine friends, while raising funds to help needy canines in the shelter! Our 2024 event was a great success, raising over $14,000 after expenses, to help provide veterinary care, healthy food, tools for enrichment and much more. Huge thanks to our over 225 registrants, volunteers, fans, vendors and sponsors for this pawsome event! Now we’re ready to make 2025 bigger and better than ever with your help!!
