Artist Series: Reading Sign: Expanding on Observations Through Process with Dean McCrillis

Join us and Maine-based artist Dean McCrillis for a pop-up art exhibit, a lecture by the artist, and a reception with food and drink.

Dean McCrillis is Maine Maine-based artist, curator and outdoorsman. Expanding on the principles learned as an amateur naturalist, his work explores elements of ecology and the relationship between wilderness and modernity. 

His paintings serve as a bridge between natural and personal history. He is the current resident artist at Cove Street Arts in Portland and has work on view at Greenhut Galleries and the L.C. Bates Museum.
