About Us
Schooner Memory Care welcomes those who have a dementia diagnosis or other cognitive challenges that have begun to interfere with their ability to live independently. Our personalized service program is designed to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual. We strive to provide quality care and life enrichment activities that are designed to stimulate interest, provide purpose, and enhance the quality of life.
We are staffed twenty-four hours a day by trained professionals who quickly become familiar and comforting to our residents. They work exclusively with each resident to provide necessary assistance, supervision, nutrition and socialization. Because our Memory Care program is at an Assisted Living level, it is not ideal for those who have high-level medical needs or major mobility problems.
Nestled within 8 scenic acres, our state-of-the-art building includes a circadian lighting system designed to mimic the natural light of day, custom studio door colors and design features, activity rooms equipped with hearing loop systems and welcoming, secure outside garden spaces.
