Created through legislation, and regulated by the Public Utility Commission, this consumer-friendly program allows anyone – whether you own or rent, whether it’s for a business or a home – to benefit from solar energy. There is nothing to install or maintain. And as important, there is no signup fees, and no cost to terminate.

As a subscriber you receive solar credits on your normal utility bill. These credits reduce your cost of electricity anywhere from 9% to almost 15% of your annual spend. As important, by subscribing you’ll help remove over 500 million lbs of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. That’s the equivalent of removing over 50,000 passenger cars from the road.

Think of community solar as the subscription that pays you. And if you get tired of saving money or helping to positively impact climate change, with proper notice, you can cancel at any time for any reason, for no cost.
