Kelsye Smith, Payment Specialist
Kelsye has worked at the Credit Union since 2017. She began as a Member Representative and most recently as a Financial Service Representative. She lives in Greene with her daughter Hallie. Smith is involved in several initiatives at the Credit Union including teaching the online Money Matters: Financial Wellness Series funded by a City of Lewiston Community Development Block Grant. In December 2020, Smith received her Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation. This designation is achieved by passing several exams covering a variety of personal finance topics and learning how to assist members with reaching their financial goals.
Kirstyn Birkbeck, AVP Deposit Operations
Kirstyn started with Community Credit Union in 2015 as a Member Representative and has continued to gain further knowledge and skills through her advancement as a Financial Service Representative and as a Branch Manager. In her role as AVP of Deposit Operations, she oversees the Lewiston Branch and its team of Member Representatives that serve those visiting our Lewiston Office to meet our credit union deposit growth and lending goals. In addition, she administers our Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Program and works on project teams for upgrades and systems for our Deposit Operations Team.
