Traumatic Stress: Tips and Tools for Recovery for Healthcare & Frontline
As the Lewiston/Auburn Community continues to recover, we are often navigating the traumatic stress of October 25th and the different impacts that stress brings. Whether we are in hospitality, healthcare, or caring for our families, it is important to be aware of how traumatic stress is showing up for us and be able to identify what we need to support ourselves and others in those activated moments.
In this one-hour webinar, we will explore typical mind/body responses to traumatic stress, as well as identify ways to sustain value centered living (for ourselves and our communities) as we continue to move towards healing.
This content was developed and will be presented in collaboration with StrengthenME, a grant funded program focused on supporting Healthcare and Frontline Workers across Maine. The event will be a one hour virtual webinar hosted by the L/A CoC. The presenter will be Ariele Worrall, LCSW and StrengthenME Lead from Healthy Life EAP.
