Event Description:
In our fourth series of the season the Midcoast Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of conductor Rohan Smith, presents “Mythical Figures,” a program of music from stories of classical myths and magical worlds. 

The program Includes: 
Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun by Claude Debussy
Siegfried Idyll by Richard Wagner
Overture to the Creatures of Prometheus by Ludwig van Beethoven
Daphnis and Chloe, Suite No. 2 by Maurice Ravel

As an added feature for the Lewiston concert the Lewiston High School Jazz Combo, led by LHS music teacher Jenna Nelson will perform during the intermission in Heritage Hall where refreshments will be available.

This concert will be performed in the beautiful Gendron Franco Center, 46 Cedar St., in Lewiston, Saturday, May 18, at 7:00PM.

Adult $20 – 18 and under and college students with ID are admitted free.
