Join The BIZ for a launch party event and support local Maine businesses.
The BIZ is the perfect place for local Maine businesses of all sizes and stages of development to connect,” said Emmanuel Boucher of Lewiston who developed the encompassing business-to-business support system several years ago but delayed its launching due to covid.
Boucher and his business partner Corey Harvey, an MBA graduate of Thomas College, are ecstatic to announce that the Business Interaction Zone (The BIZ) will officially open for business on Saturday, November 19th with an Open House at the Pub at Baxter located at 120 Mill Street in Lewiston, Maine.
The informal celebration is slated from 1 – 4 PM and will include a cash bar, live entertainment featuring Denny Breau, and vendor booths featuring services and products from sponsor members. It’ll also be an excellent opportunity to ask business-related questions and briefly chat with The BIZ Boyz about their individual business strategy. There will be many promotional items given out, an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, and catering by The Green Ladle.
With the official kick-off under their belts, Boucher and Harvey plan an aggressive statewide recruitment campaign to sign up member businesses, as well as media interviews, developing sales collateral and business-to-business promotional events, and building a sales team.
The BIZ Member Directory will be a valuable resource for statewide professionals to list their products and services and to expand their reach. An extensive, easy-to-use, online networking platform will provide many benefits for business professionals.
“What makes The BIZ unique is that we are not limited to just one town or county, one web page or even one industry. Our members can enjoy the benefits of marketing and promoting their services and products throughout the state, across Maine’s 16 counties.” Boucher stated.
Best of all, becoming a member of The Business Interaction Zone is a way to connect with the business world and enjoy a wide variety of business-to-business services…on your time—after hours, on lunch break, whenever, no weekend meetings, no commitments.
