Join in the One Lewiston Resilience Fund Committee, Maine Resiliency Center, the City of Lewiston, and our partners for this commemoration event.
Date and Time: October 25th, doors open at 5 PM, the program begins at 6 PM
Location: The Colisee, 190 Birch Street, Lewiston ME
Parking: Accessible Parking will be onsite, and shuttles will be provided to the Southern Gateway Parking Garage
Hosted by the One Lewiston Resilience Fund Committee, in partnership with the City of Lewiston, Maine Resilience Center, and the LA Metro Chamber of Commerce, this event commemorates the one-year anniversary of the events of October 25, 2023. The event will honor all of those impacted by the events at Schmengees and Just In Time Bowling, those who responded, and those who continue to support individuals impacted.
The program will consist of music, performances, and remarks; and will seek input on the development of a permanent memorial. Attendees are invited to bring small items to contribute to a vault that will incorporated into the permanent memorial site.
Quiet viewing spaces will be available, and therapists will be on hand if helpful. ASL Interpretation will be provided, and the event will be live-streamed with ASL interpretation and closed captions.
