LA Metro Chamber July VIRTUAL Breakfast Hosted by The Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch
Please join us VIRTUALLY for our July 9th, 2020 LA Metro Chamber Breakfast Hosted by the Hilton Garden Inn Riverwatch!
Topic: The regional and state impact of COVID-19’s pandemic on the economic forecasts
Economist Julieta Yung, a member of the Maine Consensus Economic Forecasting Commission, will be sharing the most recent changes to state projections with our members. Requested by Governor Mills, the committee will reassess their forecasts off-cycle to account for the pandemic’s impact on inflation, wage & salary employment, and personal income; including new recession-recovery scenarios to stress-test the state budget. Each year, our economic forecast breakfast is one of our most sought-after seats- don’t miss this opportunity to hear an economist’s take on the local forecasts and discuss the unprecedented effects of the pandemic with our members.
Questions will be accepted in advance, as well as time provided for Q+A.
