Please register by February 22nd to receive a follow-up email with the material.
Description:
Earners of the Change Manager Digital Badge have participated in the Understanding Personal Style webinar and have shown an understanding of the personal effects of organizational change. They are aware of the challenges faced by professionals during the process of both small- and large-scale changes that require professionals to move quickly from the status quo to whatever is the next thing. Utilizing the Mastering the Change Curve self-assessment, they have reflectively examined their typical reaction to organizational change and developed an understanding of what needs to be known about change for you (and others) to be able to fluidly manage periods of organizational transition.
Presenter: Marylin Newell, PhD facilitates a variety of courses and workshops for Central Maine Community College. Marylin is a long-time educator with experience as a college faculty member, academic dean, campus director, and college president. She holds a Master of Science degree in Adult Education with a concentration in counseling from the University of Southern Maine and a PhD in Organization and Management from Capella University. She specializes in transformational coaching, counseling, and training.
HR Thursdays are presented in partnership with the LA Metro Chamber, Central Maine Human Resource Association, and the Lewiston CareerCenter and offer employers resources and tools to help gain a competitive edge. Presenters will share best practices with business owners, HR staff, and hiring managers in order to create meaningful recruitment, training, and retention strategies. HR Thursdays allow participants, whether employers of one employee or 1500, to gain information needed to survive the labor shortage while giving tangible, and usable, tools and resources.
