David Pease is Senior Vice President - Director of Talent, Diversity & Inclusion at Bangor Savings Bank.
His HR career spans 30+ years in business, nonprofit, healthcare, academia, and corporate America. David views human resources as a transformational driver in an organization’s strategy, culture, and performance. He has a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Lesley University. David also has the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and the Senior Certified Professional (SCP-SHRM) national designations. He served as an adjunct faculty member in Thomas College’s graduate school for 15 years. David is the former State Director of Maine SHRM and received the distinguished Maine HR Leader of the Year award. He is a frequent speaker at state and national conferences. David serves as mentor and coach to numerous professionals in all stages of their career.

HR Thursdays are presented in partnership with the LA Metro Chamber, Central Maine Human Resource Association, and Central Maine Community College and offer employers resources and tools to help gain a competitive edge. Presenters will share best practices to business owners, HR staff, and hiring managers in order to create meaningful recruitment, training, and retention strategies. HR Thursdays allow participants, whether employers of one employee or 1500, to gain the information needed to survive the tight labor market while giving tangible, and usable, tools, and resources.
