HR- Thursday - Compassion Fatigue Versus Burnout - Work Stress Strategies hosted by the LA Metro Chamber
In the era of the Great Resignation, benefits professionals are seeing employee well-being as a higher priority than in previous years to attract and retain top talent. With increases in reported employee burnout, work-life balance challenges, as well as job and health stress, it is critical for organizations to provide increased support for employees' mental and emotional well-being. In this program, we will differentiate between compassion fatigue and burnout through reviewing the symptoms and contributing factors of each. This will give greater insight into effective workplace strategies that can be implemented to decrease presenteeism and turnover within an organization.

Chris Guild is responsible for the oversight of client company wellness programs from Maine to Florida and is also responsible for the training and development of health coaches with a specialty in teaching behavior change strategies. He is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) and has trained teachers, law enforcement officers, and healthcare providers in behavior change strategies across the country. He has a passion for helping engage employees in changing at-risk health behavior, improving employees' quality of life, and workplace productivity.
