LGBTQ Means Business – Best Practices Lunch and Learn
Join Annalise from Procter and Gamble, and Laura from Androscoggin Bank as they discuss inclusivity in the workplace. This presentation will discuss best practices from two local employers and how you can help to incorporate these practices into your places of employment. Learn how to create a culture where everyone feels respected, valued and accepted as their authentic selves. As June is Gay Pride Month, this training will focus on LGBTQIA+ inclusivity measures.
Meet your Presenters:
Laura Wolfson is a Human Resources Professional with over a decade of experience in employee relations, talent acquisition and engagement activities. Currently, she is an Assistant Vice President, HR Business Partner for Androscoggin Bank where she focuses on full-cycle talent acquisition, DEI activities and culture. Laura holds her BS in Business Administration and Management from the University of Maine, holds her SHRM-SCP and is a Six Sigma Yellow Belt. She is passionate about her local community and is on the Board of Directors for Boots2Roots, volunteers as an advisor with the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute, and sits on the Great Falls Pride Committee.
Annalise Donavan is a Production Engineer working in the GMDSO (Materials Department) at Procter and Gamble for Tampax in Auburn Maine. Currently she is the site leader for GABLE(LGBTQ+ group) for Auburn, Maine as well as a co-leader for the relaunching sites’ Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion group. Annalise holds a BS in Industrial System Engineering from Wright State University in Ohio. She volunteers for the local FRC (First Robotics Competition) and sits on the Great Falls Pride Committee.
