Bridges Out of Poverty
Bridges Out of Poverty
Strategies for Professionals and Communities
Our community needs reliable, skilled workers to fill available jobs.
Understanding the conditions of poverty can help employers reduce turnover, increase productivity, and assess employee strengths to build resources for employees—and for the business. In order to work effectively with low-wage and entry-level workers, supervisors and managers must understand the motivations of people coming from the environment of poverty.
Topics include increasing awareness of the differences in economic cultures and how those differences affect opportunities for success.
Lunch and materials are included in the price of admission.
