Basic Life Support Training for Healthcare Providers
The Center for Workforce & Professional Development at Central Maine Community College will be offer a “Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers” course on Friday, August 17, from 8:00 a.m. to noon. This course is designed to help new healthcare professionals prepare in becoming CPR certified or for healthcare professional who need to recertify their CPR certification. This course covers adult and pediatric CPR, use of the bag-valve mask, airway obstruction, automated external defibrillation (with child AED update), stroke and cardiac arrest, and other special resuscitation situations. Registration deadline is August 10.
