A Reading of "Rivers of Ink: Literary Reflections on the Penobscot"
A few of the writers featured in a new, local anthology will be at the Auburn Public Library on October 28 from 6 - 7 PM to read from some of their works in the collection.
Rivers of Ink: Literary Reflections on the Penobscot is a remarkable new anthology that captures the spirit of Maine’s iconic river through vivid stories, essays, and poems. It features over 60 renowned and newly discovered writers with close ties to the Penobscot region.
The work itself is a testament to the river’s profound influence on Maine’s history, culture, and natural environment drawing on inspiration from the river’s history, landscapes, and wildlife. This event will take place in the Androscoggin Community Room. No registration is necessary.
