32nd Annual Information Technology Summit & Tradeshow
The nonprofit Maine Technology Users Group (MTUG) invites IT professionals, managers, and technology enthusiasts from all industries and sectors to the 32nd Annual Information Technology Summit and Tradeshow on Thursday, June 13th, 2019, 7:30am-4pm.
The MTUG IT Summit is Maine's largest business technology conference with 14 educational sessions, over 50 vendor exhibits, and ample time to explore a broad range of IT topics, products and services.
Workshop tracks include IT Infrastructure, IT Career Development, IT Management, Security, and “Tech Mavericks” (out-of-box tech topics), covering subjects such as disaster recovery, DevOps, Microsoft Windows/Intune deployments, security automation, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Risk Frameworks, interviewing/retaining good cybersecurity people, and much more.
Keynote Ravi Srinivasan, Vice President of Solutions and Product at Forcepoint, will discuss the security implications of modeling user behavior with machine learning. Also during lunch, MTUG will recognize our scholarship co-sponsoring companies, who together with MTUG donated $18,000 in scholarships to 14 Maine tech students in the UMaine system.
Admission is $50 "early bird" rate by the extended date 6/5/19, $55 Advance and $60 on the event day. Students just $25! Fee includes workshops, tradeshow floor access, continental breakfast, lunch, and door prizes.
