HR Thursdays ~ "Five Strategies for a Stronger Workforce"
"Five Strategies for a Stronger Workforce"
Presented in partnership with the Central Maine Human Resource Association and the Lewiston CareerCenter.
Ask any growing business what their biggest challenge is and most will tell you "Hiring."
As companies grow, the need for skilled and qualified people becomes critical. Demand for your products and services has increased (good thing) and the difficulty of finding people to hire that are skilled and experienced becomes more difficult (bad thing). So how do you level out the good and the bad?
First of all, look further ahead. Today may be a crisis, but you don't want to be like this in the long term. Find out what key strategies will get you ready for growth and expansion. This long range look ahead will ease your mind on projected skills and manpower that will work for today and tomorrow.
