Developing Persuasive Business Proposals
The Center for Workforce & Professional Development at Central Maine Community College will offer a course on “Persuasive Business Proposals” on Monday and Wednesday, February 25 and 27, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Simply put, people buy ideas and products from people they trust. Trust requires credibility, rapport and low risk. Since decisions are made based on both emotion and logic, learning how to create persuasive proposals that address both will result in better decision-making and increased success for you and the decision-makers you present to. Students will have an opportunity to incorporate the four key elements of persuasion to ensure credibility, clear communication, language that is understandable, and delivery in a manner that inspires action. This program is suited for anyone interested in improving their ability to write and present convincing and well-justified business proposals.
